Schedule

Our conference is geared towards concrete skills to win on-campus campaigns and local power dynamics, whatever your fight!

We'll hear from each other on major global issues and campaigns, but boil these big ideas into step by step actions we can take in our home communities.

Our evolving schedule is live on the web here:

Food, Lodging and Transportation

Students across the region have worked hard to solicit donations for food and housing, so they are included, * free * with the conference! Accommodations are comfortable and rustic – bunk beds, showers, electricity. Picture it like an urban summer camp for social justice! We'll send out the exact address over email once you register.

Want to help outreach for food donations and fundraising?

Want to help cook or clean up meals?

We'd love to involve you in the group effort! Email us at info@solidarityignite.org.

Please note – lodging on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are Free/included with your donation to the conference.

If you would like to stay additional nights (Sunday on) to enjoy the cultural festivities of Mardi Gras in New Orleans, you can do so for a donation of $17/night, 100% of which directly benefits the Center for Ethical Living and Social Justice Renewal.

Please let us know in advance which dates past the conference you would like to stay.

We're encouraging everyone to come by land, because, in addition to being low-cost, the epic road-trip with other great organizers is an important part of the journey!

Do you drive? Do you need a ride? Please let us know in your registration form, or send us an e-mail at info@solidarityignite.org, and we’ll connect you to carpoolers. Did you know that many schools will rent vans at low or no cost to student groups? Please investigate this option on your campus! If you have a valid driver's license, but no car, and you're driving less than 135 miles, you might check out renting a car from someone local at Relay Rides.

Other great options are Megabus, Amtrak, Greyhound, or Rideshares on Craigslist...

...or by a sailboat...                                                                        or by a unicorn...

Fundraising Skillshares and Travel Scholarships

Fundraising is a powerful organizing skill! Contact us to get connected to a fundraising skillshare, and learn how to fundraise on your campus and in your home community to cover the cost of getting to the conference.

Send us an e-mail if you’ll be needing a need-based scholarship application.

Driving to the conference and want to meet cool folks along the way, while defraying your gas costs? Looking for a ride to NOLA? Hit us up and we’ll connect you for carpooling!
